Built in the year 1942 Dariya Mahal on Gopnath Beach is the seaside bungalow of the former royal family of Bhavnagar. Located on the coast of the Gulf of Khambhat, Dariya Mahal recalls European architecture. The sprawling expanse of the shoreline offers a beautiful vista of the Arabian Sea, and the rejuvenating sea breeze is a welcome change for the weary traveller.
